About
I’m researching the feasibility of combining different communication technologies existing on the Internet to help form a motivational process of learning English in a blended environment.

I am teaching English (as a part-time instructor) in the department of English at Mukogawa Women’s University. This year, beginning in April, I have begun to teach three classes using various Internet based programs to determine whether we can increase motivation and exposure to English for our students. If my research is successful, I can see where we could offer third year students a global communications class in which they would have the opportunity to communicate with English speakers around the world.
This project is part of my Masters thesis on education and technology to be completed Spring 2009. After which I will be applying for full-time positions to further develop this field of education. Feel free to contact me at mike[AT]professormerryman.com
